6 yogurt traders fined over Tk 1 lakhs in Bogura

A mobile court led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer & Executive Magistrate Liaquat Ali Seikh and acting company commander of RAB-12 senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Shajal Kumar Sarker  has fined six traders Tk 1 lakh 10 thousand for making yogurt and sweets in an unhealthy environment under Sherpur upazila in Bogura.

According to the press release, a mobile court operation was conducted in Sherpur Upazila on Wednesday in collaboration with RAB. Ahmed Ali, owner of Saudia Dairy and Food Products , was fined  Tk 30,000, Shyamal Basak, owner of Rinki Suits , Tk 20,000 and Ananda, owner of Mouchak Misty- Dai , for violating Section 52 of the Consumer Rights and Protection Act by making yogurt and sweets in an unhealthy environment Ghosh were fined Tk  20,000, Shampa Dadhi Bhandar owner Tapan Ghosh Tk 30,000, VIP Yoghurt owner Swajal Chowdhury  Tk 5,000 and Usha Yoghurt owner Oiyasim Ghosh Tk 5,000 and a total of Tk 110,000 simultonously.
