Recently, a former student of BIAM Model School and College made a complaint of sexual harassment against Abdul Mottalib, a lecturer in English department. In it, he accused the teacher of making obscene offers on Facebook Messenger on the night of August 21.

Later, the teacher made threats and obscene pictures on the phone and spread them on the internet and threatened to harm him if he went too far. On the other hand, Abdullah Al Mahmood, a Bangla teacher of the same college, was accused of dragging a female student to his house.

Later, when he complained about this in January, the accused teacher showed fear in various ways instead of trial. After this incident, the board of directors of the college held an emergency meeting on the night of August 29 and suspended the two teachers and formed a three-member investigation committee.
