As part of the Mujib centenary celebrations, Panchagarh Zilla Parishad has distributed ring slabs and school bags among poor families who do not have hygienic toilets. These ring slabs were provided for use in Sadar and Kamat Kajaldighi Unions of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila and 180 poor families in Panchagarh Municipal Area. Chairman of the district council and general secretary of the district Awami League Alhaj Anwar Sadat Sarat inaugurated the distribution of ring slabs at the Kamat Kajaldighi Union Parishad office ground in Panchagarh Sadar Upazila on Thursday noon. Akhtarun Nahar Saki, a reserved woman member of the district council, Kamat Kajaldighi, UP chairman Alhaj Mozahar Ali and other UP members and local dignitaries were present at the time. Later, school bags were distributed among 250 poor students of secondary schools in Kajaldighi Kaliaganj and Barashashi of Boda Upazila and Bhaulaganj Union of Debiganj Upazila.
