The historic homecoming day’2023 of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed through art competition and prize giving ceremony at Bogura Zila Parishad Auditorium in Bogura on Thursday afternoon.
District Information Office of Bogura has arranged the competition and prize giving ceremony with the assistance of District Shilpokola Academy, Bogura.
Senior District Information Officer of Bogura Muhammad Mahfuzar Rahman presided over the whole programme while District Education Officer (DEO) Md. Hazrat Ali was present as the chief guest.
Special guests were News Editor of “The Daily Karatoa” Prodip Bhattracharjae Shankar, President of Bangabandhu Shishu-Kishore Mela, Bogura, Goutam Kumar Das, District Correspondent of “The Asian Age”and “The Daily Deshkal” Assistant Professor (English) Md. Mamun-ur-Rashid, Assistant Information Officer Tania Tazmin Memi and Julfiqur Abdur Rouf and others.
In the short discussion, the speakers said that the young leaners should be taught the real history of freedom fighting and the extra-ordinary role of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In the whole world, out of 250 countries only 13 countries got fathers of the nations. Bangladesh is one of the only 13 counties and it makes us absolutely proud.
The Sonar Bangla of Bangabandhu and Smart Bagladesh of his prudent daughter honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina will be fulfilled by building excellent career of the future generation of our country, added the speakers.
Finally, the winning kids and Juveniles were awarded with precious prizes in three categories by the valued guests in the programme.
