Bogura district police have taken stern security measures in 12 upazilas of Bogura and specially Bogura town ahead of Eid-ul Fitr and huge number of police, intelligences have been deployed in different locations in Bogura district.

Important infrastructures, offices, courts, shopping malls, other locations where gathered huge number of crowds have been deployed plain clothed and female police so that they can protect any kind of extortion and crime.

Zedan-Al Musa, Superintendent of Police (SP), Bogura, the shopping malls of Jaleshwaritola area, cloths markets in New Market area and cloth markets in railway market have been gathered by huge number of women of different ages and to protect the women, girls from hands of pick-pockets, sexual harassers, and eve-teasers, female police have been deployed in those areas.

Strict security measures have also been taken and police personnel have been deployed at bus stand, railway stations, CNG stands and different intersections of Bogura district and town areas for controlling traffic jam and terrorist activities, added the SP.

Night petrol has hugely deployed for deep night for smooth eid shopping and huge sum of money can be escorted with the help of law-enforcers, added the SP.

Salekuzzaman Khan, Traffic Inspector (Admin) of Bogura district traffic police said that to control traffic congestion and robbery in Dhaka-Rangpur highway, three check-posts have been installed at Sherpur, Adamdighi and Mokamtola and to ensure public security in the district specials measures have been taken so far and police personnel have been ordered to show zero tolerance to the criminals.

Illegal car, vehicle parking, violation of traffic rules has been strictly forbidden and cases and fined will be against the drivers, owners of the vehicles, added the TI (Admin).
