Agricultural elements have been distributed among 500 farmers in Phulbariuapazilaparishad square in Kurigram district at noon on Thursday (October 26) for agricultural development.

Deputy Director of Kurigram Department of Agriculture Extension Biplab Kumar Mohanto was present as the chief guest.Phulbariupazila Agriculture Officer Nilufa Yasmin, Zonal Manager of Singenta Bangladesh Limited Aminul Islam,Regional Manager Ramzan Ali,StokistGolamRabbani and Manager of Dhaka Bank MonjurMorshed were present among others.

Funded by Dhaka Bank and assistance by Singenta Bangladesh Limited distributed 50 kgs mixed fertilizer, anti-insects and anti-fungus each among more than 500 farmers.

ASVP and Manager of Dhaka Bank MonjuurMorshed informed that a list of poor farmers of char areas under Phulbariupazila prepared and distributed for the upcoming Boro season to cultivate of one bigha of land as the marginal farmers can cultivate on his one bighas of land with these agricultural elements.
