Uttering the slogan “Hridoyer Tane Fire Ashi Barbar” Carmichael College Former Student Somittee arranged Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Reunion’2024 at BADC Sech Bhaban Auditorium of 22, Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka on Friday afternoon.
In the AGM and Reunion programme, Honourable Justice of Affiliate Division, Bangladesh Supreme Court, M. Enayetur Rahim was present as Chief Guest while the whole programme was presided over by the existing president of the Somitee and Secretary, Health Service Department, Health and Family Planning Ministry, Bangladesh Md. Jahangir Alam.
Special guests were former Secretary Rezaul Hasan, noted Rokeya Podok winner Dr. Halima Hanom Aktar, Former CEO and MD of Sonali Bank Ataur Rahman Prodhan, General Secretary Rakibus Sultan Manik and Finance Secretary Adv. Ziaur Rahman and others.
The Chief guest said that such reunion gives the chance to interact each other and become nostalgic to recall the memory of the College as it was his turning point of his life and urged to all to come forward to be united for the Association.
Special guests praised the positive activities of the existing committee and hopeful of the better future of the committee.
President of the programme urged all the valued members to be active in economic solvency of the committe so that they can stand beside others at the time of distress.
The AGM and Reunion programme was followed by cultural Programme and dinner in the same venue.
