An advocacy meeting for the college teachers was arranged by National Anti-Tuberculosis Association of Bangladesh (NATAB) at Tonmoy Community Centre in Bogura town on Tuesday noon.
National Anti-Tuberculosis Association of Bangladesh (NATAB), Bogura district branch arranged the advocacy meeting for the teachers of different colleges of the district.
The advocacy meeting was presided over by the General Secretary of NATAB, Bogura district unit and the former President of Bogura Press Club and acting Editor of The Daily Bogura Rezaul Hasan Rana.
Deputy Civil Surgeon (DCS) of Civil Surgeon Office Dr. Shahnaj Parvin was present as the chief guest and the medical Officer of the same office Dr. Punom Sarkar was present as the special guest and the whole program was coordinated by the district correspondent of The Asian Age, Bogura and Assistant Professor in English of Kahaloo Adarsha Women’s Degree College Md. Mamun-ur-Rashid while Kamrul Islam was present as the representative of NATAB.
The Chief Guest Dr. Shahnaj Parvin said that to prevent Tuberculosis, the people have to play vital role by raising awareness and by keeping the environment clean and by taking proper medicine in time with
The media, the civil society, the educated society, health sectors can play vital role so that the Tuberculosis can be prevented from Bangladesh and even from the whole world, added the DCS.
