A two-day training workshop for  jute growers has been organized by the Upazila Administration and Jute Department at Chatmohar under the slogan “Golden Country of Golden Fiber Mujib Year Bangladesh”.

The training workshop was held at Chatmohar Upazila Parishad Auditorium last Friday and Saturday.
On the last day of the workshop presided over by Chatmohar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Saikat Islam, Chief Inspector of Jute Department Hajjajur Rahman, Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension Department Pabna Abdul Quader, District Jute Development Officer Mamunur Rashid, President of Pabna District Jute Farmers Association Sunil Kumar Chandra, Deputy Assistant Patan Development Officer Bachchu Mia spoke.

Apart from traditional jute cultivation, 100 jute farmers from different unions of Chatmohar took part in the training workshop aimed at producing modern and advanced technology based jute and jute seeds and expanding jute cultivation.
