Rape case was filed in Sherpur Police Station on Monday night in connection with the rape of a four-year-old boy of Garai Paschim Para of Bhabanipur union under ​​Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.

In the context of the case, the police arrested Mostakin (14) and brought him to the police station.

According to local sources, Mostakin, son of Harun Aur Rashid of the upazila, lured a 4-year-old boy from the same village into a large garden near his house at around 4 pm on Saturday. After the rape, the child became severe ill due to bleeding from the anus.The family members admitted the raped boy to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital (SZRMC&H)for treatment.

The child’s father filed a case with Sherpur Police Station on Monday night. In the wake of the case, the police raided the house at night and arrested Mostakin.

Sherpur police officer in charge (OC) Shahidul Islam said the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
