Speaking as the chief guest, Ghulam Faruque Prince emphasised on taking care of flower cultivation and urged our government to focus on floriculture. Flowers don’t just adorn, he added, It is also playing a role in our economy. There is no occasion where flowers are not used. Referring to the flower growers of Jashore, Prince further said that a large number of people have become self-sufficient by earning a lot of money. If the flower growers of Pabna like Jashore are also enterprising, the people’s representative mentioned that they will not be stingy in giving incentives.
Other speakers emphasised on training farmers interested in commercial floriculture in Pabna, providing necessary materials and providing government grants.

Under the auspices of the nursery owners, the Department of Agricultural Extension is holding a grand fair in the premises of the farm house. The fair runs every day from 9 am to 9 pm.
