On the occasion of Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day, the district Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) paid deep tribute to the martyrs of the historic Language Movement.

In the early hours of Friday (February 21), wreaths were laid at the Central Shaheed Minar of Nawabganj Government College by Executive Engineer Md. Anwar Hossain on behalf of the LGED.

Other officials and employees of the department were also present at the time.
