A 50-year-old truck driver was found dead in a litchi orchard under Ataikula police station in Pabna sadar upazila on Thursday morning. Who was missing from Wednesday evening. Police believe that he was beaten to deathby miscreants due to extramarital love. A woman arrested in the incident.

The police recovered his from a litchi orchard in Joradah village of Ataikular on Thursday morning, during the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. The saline Abdur Rauf,50, son of late Muslim Pramanik a residence of Madhupur village of Ataikula police station.

Ayub Ali, the younger brother of the victim, said that his brother could not be found since Wednesday evening. His mobile set was also found switched off around 10 pm on Wednesday. On Thursday morning, locals found his body lying in a litchi orchard in Jordah village.

Officer-in-charge of Ataikula police station Mizanur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that Rauf could be killed in the wake of the alien love. The body was recovered and sent to Pabna General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.

A woman has been detained for questioning in the incident.Details will be given later subject to investigation.
