The friends of Bashundhara Shuvosangha brought smiles to the street children who were walking around in the sun and rain with torn dirty clothes of Santahar Rail Junction in Adamdighi of  Bogura.

On Tuesday afternoon, new clothes were handed over to 15 street children at the railway gate square of Santahar Paur town of the upazila. In the afternoon, the friends of the upazila branch of Shuvosangha took these children to the cloth market from the station area and bought their clothes according to size. Then these gift clothes are handed over to them. Many children are overjoyed to get new clothes.

Advisor of Shuvosangha freedom fighter Engineer Nazrul Islam, upazila correspondent of Kaler Kantha Tariqul Islam Gentu , President of Executive Committee Aminul Islam Sumon, Senior Vice President Jahangir Alam, General Secretary Hasibul Islam Shakeel, Organizing Secretary Shakila Akhtar, Treasurer Firoz Hossain, Office Secretary Ranjan Kumar, literature secretary and Cultural Secretary Arafat Rahman Johnny, Health Affairs Secretary Tanveer Hasan Samrat, Sports Secretary Naimul Hasan Ziku, Executive Members Mamun Hossain, Shakeel Hossain, Mostakin, Chaya Akter. Haasan, Tufan, Rishi, Megha and Noor were present here during handing over these clothes.

The street children who are overjoyed to get new clothes, say, ‘No one looks after their food. It is their dream to buy new clothes there. That’s why when they got the new clothes given by the friends of Shubasangh, they hurriedly put on their clothes.

Aminul Islam Sumon, President of Adamdighi Committee of Bashundhara Shubosangh said, “We always try to bring smiles to the underprivileged children.” “This year we distributed new clothes and Iftar to street children. Iftar was also organized with all the friends of Shubasangh.” He added.
