Some 40 industrial sewing machines have been formally distributed among 40 participants of training at Dasherhaat ESDO training center under Kathalbari union in Kurigram Sadar upazila in the morning on Wednesday (February 28).

District Cooperative officer of Kurigram Social Service Office Atikur Rahman was present as the chief guest while general secretary of Kallani Nari Kallan Samobay Samitee Khadiza Parvin Khushi was in the chair.

The meeting was addressed among others by representative of UNDP Kamal Hossain, Aman Ullah Bin Mahmud, Golam Rabbani, Wajedul Islam GUK representative Akhil Chjandra Barman and ESDO representative Arun Chandra Adhikari.

A total of 40 women of local Non-Government Organization named Kallani Nari Samobay Samity have been received the sewing machines after training of four days for increasing skillness,creating job opportunities and livelihood among the beneficiaries less women funded by UNDP and commerce ministry of the people’s republic of China.
