Bogura DAFO instantly providing Utmost services to the beneficiaries

The civic-oriented District Accounts and Finance Office (DAFO) of Bogura has been rendering utmost and sincere services to the elderly pensioners, services seekers and other professionals of the district despite shortage of manpower in the office.

Under the Ministry of Finance division of Bangladesh and with supervision of the office of Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Bangladesh and Divisional Controller of Accounts (DCA), Rajshahi, the office has been providing best services to the people of the district.

The pensioners, their better halves, elderly people, senior citizens, contactors, government officials, newsmen are the best beneficiaries under the services of the DAFO office in the district and they can make comment in the comment-book after getting their services.

With the dynamic and benevolent direction of the present District Accounts and Finance Officer (DAFO) of Bogura Md. Shamsul Alam Sarker, the ways of the services from the office have rapidly been changed and the services seekers could have utmost faith in getting their services smoothly.

Regular pension, family pension, life-verification, salary giving through EFT to the employees of the district, bill payment of the contractors of the different offices of the district, procurement bill, salary fixation of the employees etc. are the services given to the people of the district.

DAFO of Bogura Md. Shamsul Alam Sarker informed that in the 2022-2023 fiscal, the services on the 237 pension cases and the 162 family pensions had been rendered and over 13,000 life-verifications had been done for the pensioners of the district.

With the innovative direction and motivation of the existing Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Bangladesh, Md. Nurul Islam, One-stop service cell of the pay-point has been providing prompt services to the elderly pensioners, service recipients and their family members with dignity, sincerity, and supreme dedication and he also introduced Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) cheques in payment systems for optimizing the government finance management system, added the DAFO.

Sajada Khatun, Better half of a recently died retired professor said that she sought the services to the DAFO office to establish her name in the list of pensioners in place of her deceased husband and the office without any delay provided her the services and handed her the new Pension Payment Order (PPO) form within very short time.

Sree Rabindranath, retired sweeper of National Housing Authority said that he is highly pleased with the services provided by the Bogura DAFO office.

Contacted, Pensioner and former head of the department of Botany under Govt. Azizul Haque College Professor AKM Shafiqur Rahman said after retirement, he got utmost and sincere services by the auditor for getting pension money without any hassle.

Contacted, AKM Forhad Noman, upazila livestock officer of Bogura sadar upazila said that he went to the DAFO, Bogura for a tour bill and the concerned officer helped him instantly much.

Md. Shamsul Alam Sarker, District Accounts and Finance Officer, Bogura said that they have been giving services to more than 10,000 employees from the office and working relentlessly to make a smart Bangladesh dreamt by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Due to technical problems, NID, Location mis-matching, Server problem of i-BAS++ system, lack of particular papers of the beneficiaries, the pension activities are sometimes being accomplished at delay, added the DAFO.
