A fire broke out at around 3:30 PM in the record room of Deputy Commissioner’s office in Bogura on Tuesday. Judgment documents of various cases have been burnt.

Later, the fire service personnel came and extinguished the fire. Two committees have been formed to investigate the fire incident.

The verdict documents of several cases were burnt. At that time, the employees of his office tried to put Fire Service and Civil Defense Office were informed. Fire crews arrived around 3pm and doused the fire.

Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam said that the fire started from the false roof of the record room of his office. There, the judgment documents of various court cases including ADM court were preserved.

The Deputy Commissioner also said that two separate committees have been formed to investigate the incident. A report in this regard has been asked within the next three working days.
