The closing ceremony of the 4^th Runner Cup Golf Tournament’2023 was held at Bogura Golf Club in Bogura Cantonment in Bogura on Friday.

The closing ceremony was arranged by Bogura Golf Club and the President of the prestigious golf club and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Bogura Area Major General Md. Khaled-Al-Mamun, pbgm, ndc, psc thanked the high officials of Runner Group for their cordial cooperation and invited guests for attending in the programme.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was followed by an eye-catching cultural programme in the evening too. The chief guest, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Bogura Area Major General Md. Khaled-Al-Mamun, pbgm, ndc, psc deeply recalled the architect of Independence of Bangladesh, the best Bangalee of thousands of years and the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Bogura Golf Club sources said that the club has been arranging such tournaments time to time and it is the second tournament in the year which was held from February 15 to February 17 this year.

In the Golf tournament, at least 120 Golf players of different locations of the country participated and the club has been trying its best to make the game popular among the people, added the sources.

General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Bogura Area Major General Md. Khaled-Al-Mamun, pbgm, ndc, psc, chief guest, and the Chairman of Runner Group Hafizur Rahman Khan, the special guest, handed over the prizes, crests among the winners. Meanwhile, the high Army officers and civilian members of the club, others were present in the very occasion simultaneously.
