A book festival was held at Yakubia Girls High School in Bogura town on Sunday. On this occasion, under the chairmanship of school principal Md. Shahadat Hossain,  Municipal Awami League President and Gabtali Upazila Parishad Chairman Rafi Newaz Khan Robin, the school’s president, spoke as the chief guest.

Among others were the assistant headmaster of the school Md Ferdous Alam, parent members of the management board Md Rafiqul Islam, Md Khairul Islam, S, M Nahid Hasan, Md Shamim Mia and Syeda Latifa Akhtar, senior teachers Mosa Nahid Sultana, Mosa Jinnat Ara High, Mosa Badrunnahar. Begum, Mosha: Jahanara Khatun and Shahida Khatun including all teachers-staff and students of primary and secondary level. Free books provided by the government were distributed to the girls of primary level at 8:00 am and at 12:30 pm of secondary level.
