BNP-led Lawyers of Bogura district have bagged most of the posts of Bogura District Advocate BAR election in Bogura district and the intra-party feud among the Awami-led lawyers enhanced the defeat in the election held on Friday in Bogura Court Area of the district.

Awami League-led lawyers won two posts including the President Post and an Executive Member post whereas BNP-led Lawyers bagged 11 posts including the post of General Secretary, Vice-presidents and Joint-Secretaries and other executive posts.

In the Election, Awami League-led Mohajot lawyers and their rival group’s lawyers contested with BNP-led Lawyers and Leftist-led another parishad’s lawyers also contested in the election.

In the election, Advocate Abdul Motin from Awami League-led Lawyers was elected as the President and Advocate Abdul Based from BNP-led lawyers’ was elected as the General Secretary.
