In the painting competition organized by District Children’s Academy on the occasion of Sheikh Russell Day/22 celebration, Samia Zaman, who won the first place in the ‘A’ category, won the first place at the Rajshahi divisional level as well.

Samia Zaman is a 2nd class student of Naogaon Government Girls High School and the daughter of Md Saiduzzaman, a senior teacher of the same school, and is the granddaughter of eminent journalist Hafizar Rahman, president of Adamdighi Press Club.

Samia Zaman won the 1st place in Naogaon upazila and district level in the painting competition organized on the occasion of World Children’s Day and Children’s Rights Week.

Samia Zaman said that the contribution of the teachers of the school is more for her achievement as she won the 1st position at the departmental level this time.
