One youth was committed suicide as he demanded to buy a motor cycle from his father on the eve of Eid-ul Fitrbut while his father refused, he was committed suicide handing himself with the ceiling of his room at Sheberdangi village under Rajibpur upazila in Kurigram in the morning on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Ibrahim Khalil 17 son of Farijol Haque of Masterpara village of the upazila.

Local sources said Ibrahim Khalil was a student of class ten has been demanding to buy a motor cycle from his father for several days. But his father refused causing he was committed suicide. Hearing the news police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Earlier when he was driving of his friend’s motor cycle an accident occurred.

Sub Inspector of Rajibpur police station Sahijol Haque said there was no complain of his family and with the request of villager permission was given to bury the body. However, an unnatural death case was lodged with Rajibpurthana.
