91th birthday of a legend of the Indian Bengali film actors Suchitra Sen was observed in Pabna in a short event. Due to Ramadan, the organizer of the event could not chalk out details program to observe the birthday of Suchitra Sen , general secretary of Suchitra Sen Smriti Sangrakhhon Parishad Naresh Madhu said.

On the day general secretary Naresh Madhu, president of Pabna press club and members of Suchitra Sen Smriti Sangrakhhon Parishad ABM Fazlur Rahman, member Mazaharul Islam, Sabbir Ahmed, Wahida Aspara Jolly, Mojibur Rahman, and members of the advisor the parishad agriculturists Zafar Sadeq and Gourang Chandra Ghosh were presented while they laid a wreath at her sculpture with flower.

Suchitra Sen was the first actress to win an award at the International Film Festival. The Uttam-Suchitra Sen duo on the silver screen is still a favorite of the audience. She is a Bangladeshi female actress by birth. She was born on 6 April 1931 on the Hem Sagar Lane in Pabna town. Suchitra Sen Smriti Samgrakkhon Parishad has been protesting for a long time and cleared the house through the district administration after overcoming legal complications. At present, it has become a place of interest for visitors as the Suchitra Sen Memorial Museum.
