A man named Abdul Jabbar Nasim (45) was beaten and stabbed in Rajshahi. In this, part of Nasim’s belly has come out.

The incident took place in the area adjacent to Munnujan School at Kumarpara-Fudkipara around 10 am on Sunday. Nasim was rescued in critical condition and admitted to Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Hospital.

Relatives of the injured Nasim have alleged that his followers, led by Shahadat Hossain Badshah, son of Md. Atiyar of the same area, beat Nasim to death and stabbed him in the abdomen.

According to the relatives of the injured and local sources, Nasim has a shop on the bank of Padma in Fudkipara area. A little away from the shop, Nasim planted some vegetable trees in Char. In the same place, the king sent his men to plant paddy. At that time Nasim stopped them.

Nasim then informed the king to inform the matter. Angered by this, the king and the king’s brother-in-law Shamim and his son Rahat and Nayan, Mintu, Farooq and a few others started beating Nasim at random. At one point, Badshah’s brother-in-law grabbed Shamim Nasim and Badshah stabbed him in the back and abdomen with a knife. Nasim’s belly came out. He was later rescued by locals in critical condition and admitted to Ramek Hospital.

Relatives of the injured Nasim said that a case will be filed in the police station. No statement was received from the police in this regard.
