Discussion and prize giving ceremony arranged by distriuct administration and Department of Cooperative were held on the 50th National Cooperative Day uttering the slogan ” Bangabandur Dorshan, Somobay Unnayan” at Zila Parishad Millanayatan at Bogura town on Saturday afternoon.
The discussion and prize distribution programme were presided over by the former president of Cooperative Bank and Jubo League, district unit General Secretary Aminul Islam Dablu.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md. Ziaul Hoque was present as the chief guest in the programme while Superintendent of Police, Bogura Sudip Kumar Chakrabarty, Zila Parishad Chairman Dr. Mokbul Hossain, president of district unit Awami league were present as the special guests in the programme.
Speakers were district cooperative officer Masud Parvez, Sadar upazila cooperative officer Atiqur Rahman, representatives of cooperative societies Nurunnabi, Jahangir Hossain, Rehena Akter, Hamidul Haque Tota and others.
The Inspector of District Cooperative Office Ashiqur Rahman and Popy Rani conducted the whole programme where the best cooperative societies and individuals were awarded.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md. Ziaul Hoque, the chief guest in the programme, said that the utmost philosophy of Bangabandhu was cooperative and the present government-led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to ensure the development in the light of the philosophy of Bangabandhu.
