A fake doctor has been sentenced to 6 months imprison by a mobile court led by Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Md Mashudur Rahman on Sunday for cheating in the name of medical treatment under Kahalu upazila in Bogura.

The convicted is identified as Emdadul Haque (50) son of Mozammel Haque of Valta village in the upazila.

It is learned that even though he has no medical degree, Emdadul is treating dentists by opening a chamber at Muril Stand in Kahalu Upazila, referring to him as a doctor with a degree on a sign board and his own pad.
