Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth (18) in the empty space of bamboo bush under Sherpur upazila of Bogrua district.
They recovered his body from an empty bamboo grove near the Bangali river in Chakkhanpur village of Khanpur union in Sherpur upazila around 3pm on Sunday (May 2).
The dead body was seen wearing a blue vest and black jeans pant at the time. His neck was wrapped with a towel. It is thought that he was killed by suffocation.
However, no one in the area could confirm his identity. Gaziur Rahman (ASP) of Bogura district, Shohidul Islam, (OC) have visited the spot.
Police Inspector (Investigation) Abul Kalam Azad said his body was recovered and sent to Bogura (SZRMC) & Hospital for autopsy. Police are working to uncover his identity and mystery of his murder.
