A team of Detective Branch (DB) police of Bogura have arrested 6 robbers with covert van and others goods worth at Tk. 45 lakh from Nortn Shampur and other locations under Shibgonj and Dhunat upazila in Bogura and Chandaikona under Sirajgonj district on Monday night.

With the direct care of high officials of Bogura district police, on the tip-off, A DB team led by OC DB Abdur Razzak and Inspector Amran Mahmud Tuhin conducted a drive in the location and arrested six members of inter-district robbers and recovered a covert-van and other goods worth at Tk. 45 lakh from their possession.

The arrested robbers were identified as Jahangir Alam, 40, Solaiman Mia, 42, Shamim ahmed, 38, Yeasin Ali, 27, Dulal Mia, 40 and Rassel Khan Shujan, 40.

Contacted, OC DB of Bogura Abdur Razzak said that the arrested are the members if inter-district robbers and had been conducting robbery in across the country and they will be sent to the court after filing a case.
