Members of the organization greeted the newly formed convening committee of the anti-discrimination Bangladesh Chemist & Druggist Society has been formed under Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.

The members of the Society gave floral greetings to the newly formed convenor and member secretary at Khondokar Para area on Monday at 8 pm.on the occasion.

They informed that last Sunday (February 2) in the evening, this committee was formed in a room at Khondokar Para of the town. This convening committee has been consisted of 31 members. Sumir Kumar Adhikari,the proprietor of Monika Pharmacy, as convener and Alhaj Zahurul Islam,the owner of Khan & Riyadh Pharmacy as member secretary of the committee.

Abdul Karim, Anwar Hossain, Hekim Shahadat Hossain, Zakir Hossain, Hekim Zahurul Islam Bhandari, Abdul Karim II, Mottalib Hossain, Saiful Islam Lelin, Farhad Hossain Munna, Sajjad Sarkar, Obaidur Rahman, Abdur Noor Sarkar Jinnah, Zakir Hossain, Anwar Hossain in the meeting.

At that time, they said, the committee of Sherpur Upazila branch of Bangladesh Chemists and Druggists Association formed by its henchmen during the Fascist Awami League government period has been dissolved due to faulty functioning. And the Convening Committee of Anti-Discrimination Chemists and Druggists Association has been formed in Sherpur again.
