Winter clothes have been distributed in Chapainawabganj among the disabled, helpless, poor, and daily wage workers of the society. These winter clothes were distributed to more than 500 winter-stricken people in the Arambag area of the district town on Monday morning. The winter clothes distribution program was organized by NGO Federation Chapainawabganj District Branch in collaboration with the non-governmental development organization Bureau Bangladesh, BRAC and ASHA.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdus Samad was present as the chief guest and distributed the winter clothes. The Deputy Commissioner praised such social activities that private voluntary organizations have extended their hands towards humanity in the bitter winter. He also suggested that such activities should be continued.

Also present at the event were Monjurul Islam Khan Babu, Executive Director of Non-Governmental Development Fund (RSDF) and President of NGO Federation Chapainawabganj District Branch, Momena Khatun, District Representative of BRAC, Abdul Malek, Executive Director of Sheba Foundation, Arifuzzaman Talukder, Area Manager of Bureau Bangladesh, Raihanul Haque, Senior Manager of Alor Neer, Enamul Haque Nasim, Area Manager of Chetona Manobik Unnayan Sangstha and among others.
