612th fortnightly session of “Sherpur Sahitya Chakra” was held 23th February at 3.00 pm at “Sherpur Town Club Public Library Mahila Honors College under Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.
Sultan Mahmud Roni the president of the organization presided over the discussion meeting.
Heroic freedom fighter Abdur Rauf Khan, member of the presidium of the organization and general secretary of Bogura district branch of Muktijoddha Sector Commander Forum, discussed the significance of Bangla Language Movement & Bengali literature).
Former vice-principal of Govt. Azizul Haque College, poet, essayist and lyricist Professor Khayyam Quader and Vice-principal of Mujibur Rahman Women’s College Prof. Dr Belal Hossain (Acting Principal) prominent Researcher of folk literature took part in the discussion meeting. Abdul Jibber was given the charge of criticism of all the poetry.

Besides, Khandkar Mahbubur Rahman Ranga, Neelmadhav Pal, Md. Golam Rasul, Amarkrishna Pal Nantu Latif Adnan, Md. Tofazzal Hossain, Niranjan Sarkar, Muha. Alamgir, Md. Naseem Sheikh, Mir Nafis, Ruqaiya Adnan Raina and Ranjit Kumar were also present in the meeting.
Biswajit Chowdhury Reborn, General Secretary of Sherpur Sahitya Chakra conducted the whole meeting.
