The 36^th founding anniversary of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) was observed through colourful arrangement at Corporate Branch in Bogura on Wednesday afternoon.

Huge numbers of clients, well-wishers, officials of RAKUB were present in the historical day of the bank which was established 36 years ago to work for the root-level downtrodden people of the disadvantaged people of the northern region of the country.

Very outset of the programme, the guests were greeted with the wreaths of flowers by the RAKUB officials. The RAKUB corporate branch Manager and Assistant General Manager (AGM) Md. Moniruzzaman presided over the founding anniversary programme.

In the anniversary programme, President of Bogura Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) and Commercially Important Person (CIP) Md. Masudar Rahman Milon was present as the chief guest.

The Former Vice-President (VP) of Government Azizul Haque College Student Association Ahsanuzzaman Chowdhury (Shuin), the Zonal Manager of RAKUB (North) Md. Shahinur Islam, Manager of Marchaitaile Bank, Bogura branch Md. Alauddin, Manager of Mid-land Bank Md. Mezbaul Haque were present in the anniversary programme.

Other speakers were the Journalist of “The Asian Age” and “The Daily Karatoa” Md Mamnur-ur-Rashid, Photo Journalist of “The Daily Prothom Alo” Shohel Rana and women entrepreneur Masuma Aktar.

Speakers in their speech said that the bank was once laser-based bank but it is turned into a digital bank and for its Apps function and banking activities, the only government bank of Bangladesh has secured the ISO certificate and has been contributing the economy in various ways to make Bangladesh as Sonar Bangla.

The bank has been improving their customer services day by day and it has become the bank for all classes of people and it has also gain the faith of the people, added the speakers.

The speakers urged the officials of the bank to make excellent relationship to the people of all professionals so that they can make an excellent connectivity with the fruitful and successful clients of the bank.

Finally, a big cake was cut by the valued guests for the history making day of the bank and distributed among the presence.
